Description:

The Executive Chef is responsible to function as the Production Manager for the Food and Beverage Department, to ensure that all the outlets and banquets operate successfully, in accordance with the standard of the hotel and are individually profitable. You will be responsible for the efficient running of the division in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.

The Executive Chef will also be responsible for setting up the kitchen operations including menu planning, provisioning, food preparation, and sanitation. This position directs the training of culinary staff and other kitchen workers engaged in preparing and cooking foods to ensure an efficient and profitable food service. The position demands passion and creativity on a daily basis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards. The Executive Chef works well under pressure, is organized, flexible, self-motivated and is willing to work long hours.

Qualifications:
* Ideally with an apprenticeship or professional diploma in Food Production. * Minimum 2 years work experience as Executive Chef, or Executive Sous chef in international branded hotels is preferred * Good practical, operational and adequate administrative skills with a flair for creativity are a must. * Cantonese or Mandarin speaking is not essential; preferably proficiency in English plus one other language
